Ich hatte mir damals die 3 Zoll Roadburner Anlage in den USA gekauft. Ist Doppelwandig. Ich wollte dann legale Miller Evo Töpfe dran bauen. Die sind nur minimal breiter als die Krümmer.
stattdessen habe ich die Anlage gekürzt und bin ein paar Jahre so damit gefahren. Jetzt habe ich aber anstatt der Miller Penzl Töpfe an die Anlage geschraubt. Gruß

so, ich kann jetzt berichten:

Das Ruckeln kam wohl einfach daher, dass die Fuhre mit dem mickrigen Miller Topf plus legalem DB Killer zu heiss wurde.

Zuerst hab ich den DBK ganz raus genommen, aber damit kommt man wohl nicht weit bis die Rennleitung eingreift

Ich habe dann angefangen zusätzliche Löcher in den DBK zu bohren und war echt überrascht, dass man selbst bei 50% mehr Durchlass kaum einen Unterschied hört.

Sind jetzt so am WE eine 200km Tour über die Alb gefahren und das Ruckeln is komplett weg.
Der Motor wird lange nicht mehr so heiss und der Spritverbrauch ist um einen ganzen Liter runter gegangen.

Schätze mal, die hat aufgrund der hohen Temperaturen auf fett gestellt.

Ausserdem habe ich jetzt von einem englischen Kollegen eine Hard Krome American Classic geschossen, die ich auf 2 in 2 mit einem zweiten Miller Topf umbauen werde.

Klasse, Manchmal ist die Lösung doch ganz einfach. Schön, dass dir die Anlage trotzdem nicht zu laut ist.

Prima Lösung

Sorry for my introduction...But I speak only English and obviously italian....
I'm interest too in this topic...I'm ready to install only an Highwayhawk Slip on OEM Exhaust with DB Killer but i also have not ECU mods or PCI/PowerCommander Controller and for now I don't want to install until I replace Stock Air Filter and Complete Exhaust....
For eliminate the problems mentioned is it necessary remove AIS or Block off?

SMG had the problem because his new exhaust had not enough air flow. The air flow of the new one compared with the OEM was less. So the exhaust gas could not leave the system like it should do and heated the muffler. After he drilled some more holes in the DB killer the engine was able to press the exhaust gas out and the engine stopped to jerk.

There is a reason why the OEM muffler is so big. If you use an 2 in 2 exhaust system you should be good. If you are using a 2 in 1 you can get the same problem.

...about Slip On this is my problem maybe is the same...
Need to remove DB Killer or Block off AIS?
Or simply bad condition of fiberglass?
